"The Importance of Being Earnest" - Set Build

Some pictures showing the new set construction and painting workshop that
Portal Players is now using. It is a dedicated space and the set can be
arranged exactly as it will be on the Capitol Theatre Stage so rehearsals can also
take place there giving the actors an early start.

Pictures below feature Chris Doman, set designer & builder, along with set construction & painting members Lori Shone Kusmin and Peter Kulich.

"The Importance of Being Earnest" by Oscar Wilde opens at The Capitol Theatre on May 5, 2011 and runs for three weeks - tickets available now at the box office during regular hours. This play is directed by Debbie and Derek Burke, and is also Portal Players' entry in the 2011 Theatre BC North Island Zone Drama Festival being held in Port Alberni at The Capitol starting May 22.
